Fees

Late fees:
1. first request (3 days beyond the due date): 2 €
2. second request (14 days beyond the due date): 3 €
Fee for failure to pick up a reservation:  2 €

New library card (in the event of a lost or damaged card):  3 €

Interlibrary Loan fee for individual customers:  6 € per volume
Interlibrary Loan fee for items requested from outside the Lapland Libraries: 10 € per volume

Damaged or lost materials may be paid for either by furnishing the library with an exact replacement item, or by paying the current price of a replacement.

Unpaid fees accumulate in customers’ library accounts. A cumulative debt of ten Euros will result in a locked account, so that the customer will not be able to borrow, renew or reserve materials until the debt is paid in full. A locked customer account also prevents access to the library during self-service hours. In order to unlock the account and restore rights to library services, all fees must be paid in full.

Billing surcharge for optional invoice: 5 €

B&W, Size A4 Paper (210 x 297 millimeters (8.27 x 11.69 inches)): 0.20 € / page
Color, Size A4 Paper (210 x 297 millimeters (8.27 x 11.69 inches)): 0.50 € / page
B&W, Size A3 Paper (297 x 420 millimeters (11.69 x 16.54 inches)): 0.40 € / page
Color, Size A3 Paper (297 x 420 millimeters (11.69 x 16.54 inches)): 1 € / page

Plastic bag: 0.20 €
Reusable cloth bag: 5 €
